Every episode of Commit History explores one contribution to a major open source project.

We’ll read commits in languages from Assembly to Zig, and reveal the hidden gems in open source repositories.

I’ve been programming for over 20 years. The first language I learned was Visual Basic, and the first language I was paid to write was Turbo Pascal.

Between my Pascal days and now, I’ve written code in over 10 languages, I’ve created successful open source projects, and given conference talks at events like JSConf.
